TERM LIMITS FOR CONGRESS
Why Do We Need Term Limits For Congress?
Well, first and for most, Congress was meant to be a citizen legislature; this means that our representatives were supposed to go to Washington, serve for a short time, and then return to live under the laws they made; this vision has been lost. Congress is now full of career politicians who put their own needs above public services. Because of this, our system needs repair. U.S. Term Limits is fighting to call a convention under Article V of the Constitution to propose an amendment for term limits in the U.S. House and Senate.
Can We Pass Term Limits In Congress?
Well, term limits will not be easy to impose. It will take a vote of three-fourths of state legislatures to approve a constitutional amendment (38 states). Naysayers believe that it will be impossible to achieve, but nothing is impossible, and it can happen. The American people support term limits. A recent poll in Pennsylvania showed that 79 percent of Pennsylvanians support term limits in Congress, including the majority of Republicans, Democrats, and independents. The way to get this going should start after a member of Congress decides not to run for re-election. The term limit will begin for the next representative; this may be the only way to get it passed. No congress member in office will voluntarily give up their seat, and so it may not be easy and could take years to pass, but it is not impossible.
What Will This Mean For The Future Of Congress?
A term limit is a legal restriction limiting the number of terms an officeholder may serve in a particular elected office. The Senate term is six years, so Senators may choose to run for re-election every six years unless they are appointed or elected in a special election to serve out the remainder of a term. This would mean the future of Congress will no longer have corrupt “career politicians” in office. “Career” politicians are to blame for the dysfunction of Congress and much of the bitter divisiveness plaguing this country. Career politicians will never make the tough choices that will put our nation on a successful path; this is why we need term limits in Congress.
My proposal
Maximize Social Security Benefits
Maximize Social Security Benefits
Maximizing our Social Security benefits and maintaining our current income will be my main priority. Maximizing this will allow us to increase our Social Security benefits each year while maintaining our other earnings that will not decrease our current SS benefits. I will fight to protect our Social Security Administration, but this is a way to expand on it and allow our people with a disability to stay on their current earnings from the Social Security Administration. We need to protect our benefits for the age of 62, disability, retirement, or being blind

RANKED-CHOICE VOTING
Ranked-choice voting is an electoral system that allows people to vote for multiple candidates in order of preference. Instead of just choosing whom you want to win, you fill out the ballot saying who is your first choice, second choice, or third choice (or more as needed) for each position...
