ANIMAL CRUELTY
We need to protect the animals in the state. Currently, there is a law for Animal Cruelty here in Utah. I am not saying that there needs to be a new law. What I am proposing is that we keep our animals safe, as so many animals are repeatedly brutally tortured or killed every single day. Even though there is a law for it, you can easily get away with animal cruelty. Did you know that 65% of dog owners personally abuse their dogs? Did you know that 97% of farm animals are brutally tortured and killed? Do you know what happens to animals at shelters? We need to better care for animals, as animals help us in so many ways; they are there for us through tough times. They care for us, and we should care for them.
Many animals have done nothing wrong and should be treated as if they are a human not property. They are loving and caring and can get just as emotional as a human does. We are here to show them how much they are loved and needed.

Maximize Social Security Benefits
Maximizing our Social Security benefits and maintaining our current income will be my main priority. Maximizing this will allow us to increase our Social Security benefits each year while maintaining our other earnings that will not decrease our current SS benefits. I will fight to protect our Social Security Administration, but this is a way to expand on it and allow our people with a disability to stay on their current earnings from the Social Security Administration. We need to protect our benefits for the age of 62, disability, retirement, or being blind
